A very old forgotten figure of Sakura Shinguji from Sakura Taisen. It’s one of the first figures in our office that started the figure collection fever. My coworker’s who owns this said it was originally lost in a warehouse somewhere when we changed offices. But one day it was found and returned. Sadly Sakura is without her box, katana, and base. Her head was decapitated and it was so dirty from years / months in storage.

I decided to take pictures of this old figure. It’s a classic even-though it’s missing a lot of parts. We don’t even know who made this, if this is an original, recast, or a bootleg, what scale and what line it was in since the box was lost. To my current capabilities, I had no luck in gathering any information about this figure. I hope someone can provide more insight to what we have here.

What’s left of the figure is a bit aged if compared to todays standards. I guess back in it’s time it was good figure. It doesn’t look to bad when placed with current figures.-With the exception of missing her accessories like the base and her sword. I have to improvise with these shots and gave sakura an old Revoltech stand as well as 00 Gundam beam saber and buster sword to complete the figure. Taiga was thrown in the picture just a contrast.

I apologize if the figures are dirty, there was a lot of dirt and grime which accumulated through the years it was in storage.-It made cleaning it in a short period of time hard. But I overall it turned out ok in the end. I hope this figure doesn’t go back in storage.
